our day

7.00 – 8.30 – Breakfast, getting ready for school, tv.

8.30 – 8.45 – School Run

9.00 – 9.30 - Playschool runs (if nessecary)

9.30 – 10.30 – Play / activities. Depending on the age of the children each day, will depend on which activities. May be indoor or outdoor, or could be a trip to the park, a walk in the woods or for a kick about with a ball etc. Might also be a toddler group on.

10.30 – 10.45 – Snacks

10.45 – 11.300 – Structured, planned activity.

11.30 – 12.00 – Stories or singing

12.00 – 12.30 – Lunch

12.30 – 1.30 – Nap

1.30 – 3.00 – Play / activites. (As above)

3.00 – 3.20 – School Run

3.20 – 3.30 – After school light snack. (fruit, fruit bar, breadsticks)

3.30 – 5.00 – Older school children normally have ‘chill out time’, and are welcome to watch tv. I do not plan activites for children to do when the come home from school, as they have had it all day! They are more than welcome to do any activity they choose. Puzzles, games, drawing, computer, outdoor play, and more are all available for them.

5.00 – 5.30 – Tea

5.30 – 6.00 – Clearing up & getting ready for home.

This routine is shown as a guide only. Some days there are toddler groups or library visits, or the weather can offer spontaneous outings.

This is a guide, based on the children I currently look after. If your child naps at a different time, I will of course accommodate this. The same as anything. Please discuss any of yours or your childs needs with me.
